Extract follicles one by one, using the custom designed DHI extractor with diameter 1mm or less.
Follicles are not processed. They are kept in specific temperature and solution that enhances their growth, or are implanted directly in some cases.
Follicles are implanted one by one directly to the scalp using the custom designed DHI implanter tool. This method provides total control on the depth, the angle and the direction on the implantation.
Only doctors trained by the DHI Academy (the first and only in Hair Restoration Academy in the world) and certified as Total Care System specialists are performing the procedure.
In most of the cases are used tools with 1.2 to 1.5mm diameter which create larger holes and cause greater injury at the donor area.
Follicles are processed using tweezers, cutters and microscopes with a high risk of some of follicle damaging.
Implantation is performed in two stages. First holes and crackes are opened in the recipient area using scalpels, and then follicles are inserted into these holes; making it practically impossible to fully control the angle and depth of implantation.
Performed by doctors or nurses.
